2027 TOUR FILES:

Our 12-day tour will include:
· Guided tours of Palermo, Valley of the Temples (Agrigento), Siracusa & Island of Ortygia, Taormina.
· Entrances to Duomo di Monreale, Valley of the Temples & Greek Amphitheatre (Taormina).
· Excursions to Cefalu, Noto & Mount Etna.
· Performing 5-6 Spectrum concerts in acoustically superb and historic places.
· Explore Palermo, Ragusa & Acireale in free time chaperone groups.
· 10 nights accommodations in quality hotels, all transportation (air/coach),
· 20 delicious group meals (10 breakfasts, 10 dinners).
Open to Spectrum Youth Chorus & Ensemble choristers, singing chaperones (Accord, Ensemble & Alumni adults!)
& adult chaperones. New singers are invited to audition and join Spectrum for our 2027 Tour! Call or email to schedule an audition. In order to align with our mission, participants will be accepted in order of priority (up to 54 participants max): 1. youth singers, 2. adult singing chaperones, 3. additional adult chaperones.
Important Dates:
Aug 15, 2026 - initial contract/deposit due
(however we will continue to accept tour participants into September, as space is available)
Turn in your Tour Contract & $650 Deposit (minus any fundraising earned) to hold your spot.
Tour participants will be accepted in the order contracts are received, with priority given to
youth singers and staff, then singing chaperones, then additional adult chaperones.
Sep 2026-April 2027 Monthly tour payments of $650 per person (minus fundraising).
Optional Fundraisers have started for all singers! We offer See’s candy sales throughout the choir season—plus choir families are invited to host additional tour fundraisers! Past fundraisers have included: Christmas Wreath Sales, Gala Auction, Rummage Sales, Pampered Chef, Car Wash Tickets, Raffle Baskets. Current cost estimates:
Airfare: ~ $2100 per person (taxes & fees included)
Airfare will fluctuate until group deposit is paid.
Departing flight from Seattle (SEA) to Palermo (PMO)
Return flight from Catania (CTA) to Seattle (SEA).
Land Package: $3120-3760 per person (taxes & fees included)
This quote is also based on the current exchange rate and variable based on number of participants (the more singers/chaperones/staff, the lower the land package rate). The rate may fluctuate until we lock in with deposits in August/September. Single room supplement: $685
Inclusions:
- 10 nights in 3 or 4* hotel accommodations sharing twin/triple/quad rooms with private facilities.
- Meals: breakfast plus one other main meal daily.
- Land transportation by one private motorcoach throughout your stay in Italy.
- Tour manager throughout your stay.
- All arrangements for 5-6 performances.

Spectrum offers Music & Cultural Tours every 2-3 years, to destinations around the globe. Tour destinations are selected by our Artistic Director for the high-quality musical/educational experiences offered. Past international tours have included England, Scotland, Italy, Austria & The Czech Republic.
